Taipei Int'l Comics & Animation Festival (TICAF)
📍 Taipei – February
A true regional hub, TICAF brings together TCG cards, manga, figurines, and publishers. It's a crossroads between Taiwan and Japan, where new manga releases mingle with TCG exclusives. If you love manga as much as you love cards, this is the event to remember.
- Key licenses: Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Blue Lock, Tokyo Revengers, Shangri-La Frontier, Hypnosis Mic…
- Exhibitors: Taiwanese and Japanese publishers, TCG specialty stores, illustrators signing autographs. And numerous activities (internships, guests).
- Figures: nearly 485,000 visitors in 2025 – a record for the convention!
Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong (ACGHK)
📍 Hong Kong – July
ACGHK is Hong Kong's mega-ACG (Anime, Comics & Games) trade show. Every summer, it attracts a huge crowd that comes to discover the latest Japanese franchises, participate in tournaments, and hunt for exclusives. The event is also known for its festive atmosphere and endless queues for exclusive goodies.
- Key licenses: One Piece, Pokémon, Mario, Gundam, Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, Spy x Family etc.
- Exhibitors: manga publishers, World Cosplay Summit, TCG stores, grading companies, artists & illustrators, tech brands like ASUS ROG, Mercari.
- Figures: more than 780 stands recorded.
China Cartoon & Game Expo (CCG)
📍 Shanghai – July
It is one of the largest Chinese trade shows dedicated to pop culture, video games, and TCGs. The CCG blends industry and fandom, with major international studios and growing Chinese publishers. It is also a strategic trade show for foreign brands looking to enter the Chinese market.
- Key licenses: nearly 1,000 licenses represented, including Digimon, Final Fantasy, Star Wars.
- Exhibitors: game publishers, animation studios, TCG stores, artists.
- Figures: around 480 exhibitors each year.
Asia Sports Collectors Convention (ASCC)
📍 Macau – October to December
The ASCC specializes in sports cards, a booming market in Asia. But you'll also find TCGs and cards from Disney, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and of course, Pokémon. If you're a sports collector, this is the number one place to go in Asia.
- Key licenses: Topps, Panini, Fanatics for sports, but also Pokémon, Disney, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece.
- Exhibitors: grading companies (PSA, CGC, etc.), sports card shops, professional collectors.
- Figures: around 12,000 visitors in 2025.
Singapore Card Show (SCS)
📍 Singapore – Annual
The SCS is now the largest card show in Singapore, featuring all the leading licenses and regional exclusives. The event is growing in size every year, becoming a major regional hub.
- Key licenses: Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, MTG, One Piece, Digimon, Dragon Ball, sports cards.
- Exhibitors: PSA, BGS, CGC depending on the editions, publishers, artists, local shops.
- Figures: more than 25,000 visitors in 2025.
TCGKL – Trading Card Game Kuala Lumpur
📍 Malaysia – November (or under another “Card Mania” show in May–June)
TCGKL is Malaysia's 100% TCG trade show. It combines tournaments, exclusives, artist meet-and-greets, and special promotional releases. Smaller than its neighbors, but super friendly and focused on the heart of TCG.
- Featured licenses: Pokémon, One Piece (official tournaments), MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon, Dragon Ball Super, Gundam.
- Exhibitors: PTCG artists like Naoki Saito and Takuji Kondo, independent illustrators, specialty shops.
- Figures: around 3,000 visitors (but growing strongly).
